The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer, Platform to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of our analytics platform.

As a QA Engineer, Platform, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, product managers, and data analysts, to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. You will conduct thorough manual testing of software features, participate in the identification and documentation of software defects, and work closely with our development team to facilitate their resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of web-based platforms, micro-services, and databases.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance/testing roles, preferably in a high-growth industry.
  • Practical knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and tools like JIRA, Shortcut, Trello.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks using JavaScript like Playwright, Cypress, Postman.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a passion for working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Deep intellectual curiosity with a results-focused relentless pursuit of answers.
