We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our team at Chomay Dental. As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations by ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
  • Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory, including managing patient records and communicating with dental professionals.
  • Prepare dental instruments and filling materials to ensure they are clean and ready for use.
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to prevent the spread of infection and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Educate patients concerning oral hygiene by providing personalized advice and guidance.
  • Perform intra-oral duties under the supervision of a licensed dentist, including taking X-rays and recording dental procedures.
  • Take and develop X-rays to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of dental conditions.
  • Record dental procedures performed on patients to maintain accurate records and ensure continuity of care.
  • Conduct follow-up assessments to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Registration with provincial or territorial authorities is required to practice as a Registered Dental Assistant.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
