Srk Group is a global consulting firm providing integrated services to the mining and metals sector. We are recruiting a skilled individual for a key role in our Montreal office.

Principal Consultant (Mining)

This position involves coordinating the efforts of subject matter experts during feasibility studies and initial construction phases. As a liaison between stakeholders, you will ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate the efforts of subject matter experts.
  • Ensure seamless communication and collaboration between stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the efforts of subject matter experts during feasibility studies and initial construction phases.

Requirements:

  • Essential Requirements:
  • A minimum of an undergraduate degree in mining engineering or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of practical experience in mining engineering, operations, and/or consulting.
  • Professional registration with the Ordre des Géologues du Québec (OGQ) or the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • A high level of proficiency in both spoken and written French and English.
  • Experience with iron ore mining in Canada, specifically in the area of mining, geology, and processing.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Advanced level of interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • High level of effective communication and leadership qualities.
