Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team at KING'S RIDGE MONTESSORI. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and maintaining general ledgers and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • On-site work required
