Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Juniors Foods Services Ltd. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth food service experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Portion and wrap foods accurately and efficiently.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile.
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a well-stocked and organized food service area.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe working area.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs as needed.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively with colleagues to ensure a smooth food service experience.
    • Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and colleagues.
Work Environment

As a Food Counter Attendant at Juniors Foods Services Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet customer demands.

Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience
    • Will train on the job.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
    • Reliability, teamwork, and ability to multitask are also required.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
