Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Wellington Pizza.
Job SummaryThe Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and package take-out food.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
- Food Handling: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
- Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, team player, ability to multitask, initiative, dependability, and positive attitude.
The Food Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and food safety.
