Job Summary
As a Technical Finance Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for contributing to the software design, development, and overall product lifecycle for products that our store associates utilize. You will pair with cross-functional teams and field questions from product teams while encouraging collaboration across different teams. Your active role in working with 3rd party vendors and the open-source community will help create foundational code elements that can be reused, architectural diagrams, and other product-related documentation. Additionally, you will define service level objectives for products and participate in product configuration, performance tuning, and testing as well as production monitoring. As an architect-technology, you are expected to build and grow the skillsets of more junior engineers.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Lead design, development, and deployment of technical and application solutions to meet business requirements that are cost-effective and sustainable.
  2. Deliver conceptual, logical, and physical solution specifications.
  3. Translate business requirements into complex methods and models to determine appropriate system solutions for SAP.
  4. Provide design and implementation guidance to project teams on diverse topics including SAP ECC, S4 HANA, and SAP Integrations.
  5. Review detailed designs created by software engineers to ensure architectural principles are adhered to, requirements are satisfied, and the solution is well-tuned for a high-volume environment.
  6. Champion solutions and present to enterprise review boards for implementation approval.
  7. Create meaningful architecture diagrams and other documentation needed for security reviews or other interested parties.
  8. Field questions from other product teams or support teams.
  9. Monitor tools and participate in conversations to encourage collaboration across product teams.
  10. Provide application support for software running in production.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. 12+ years of SAP FICO experience, including full SDLCs/ERP implementations, leading the planning, design, and deployment of finance solutions.
  2. 10+ years of hands-on configuration experience with SAP GL, AR, AP, AA, Banking, Tax, Cash Management, Financial Reporting.
  3. Involved with 4-5 End-to-End SAP Project Implementations, including hands-on design and configuration.
  4. 5+ years of SAP S4 HANA Finance module implementation/support experience.
  5. Deep knowledge of FICO Integration with - SD, MM modules and exposure to SAP CAR system is a plus.
  6. Experience and ability to understand functional and technical solutions for standard and non-standard FICO processes with appropriate attention to detail.
  7. Demonstrated system problem-solving skills, having addressed complex FICO and cross-functional issues.
  8. Strong skills in requirements analysis & definition, configuration, testing, implementation, including production support.
  9. Experience with designing custom solutions and interfaces between SAP & Non-SAP systems.
  10. Make recommendations on strategic direction & roadmap for the use and implementation of the SAP FICO applications in a S4HANA landscape, as well as integration with third-party systems following defined quality processes and out-of-box standards.
  11. ABAP skills, including debugging and minor code corrections or enhancements.
  12. Ability to lead and facilitate design workshops (Blueprint), assessments, planning sessions.
  13. Effectively communicate the solution and value to all key stakeholders such as the business teams and cross-functional IT partners.
  14. Provides technical leadership to the team on tasks such as test planning, data gathering, tuning, and assessment.
  15. Ability to manage priorities and to adjust to constantly changing priorities.
  16. Ability to work both team-oriented environments with well-developed organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and problem-solving ability.
  17. Typically reports to the Sr. Manager, Technology.
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
