Job Overview:

The Technical Solutions Architect is responsible for delivering cutting-edge solutions to meet customer requirements.

About the Role:

This role requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to work with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver modular hardware and software components to create tailored Fujitsu solutions.
  • Contribute to responses for new business opportunities and presentations, aligning with Fujitsu's strategy.
  • Nurture client relationships through regular communications, site visits, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Create engaging oral presentations and discussions to showcase solution capabilities.
  • Facilitate workshop-style architecture sessions to uncover client needs and record key requirements.
  • Manage demo hardware and solutions, maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Assist in defining functional requirements, solution fit, and creating solution kits and PINs for quoting.
  • Communicate effectively with clients during pilot and transition phases.
  • Serve as a technical escalation point for client inquiries.
  • Provide support for trade show events, including equipment setup and presentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with Product Management on product life cycle management and software roadmap updates.
  • Document technical requirements and business benefits for custom customer solutions.
  • Offer software support for various retail solutions, including U-Scan, Mobile Device Software, and Alert Management Software.
  • Conduct testing and analysis of retail solutions, documenting findings and recommendations.
  • Travel up to 75% of the time to support sales and customers.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of network routing, security, and firewall features.
  • Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to adapt to new technology and conduct user training on IT topics.
  • Develop effective solutions to complex problems using company policies as guidelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and recommend best courses of action.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze details and perform structured decision-making daily.
  • Quality-oriented with high initiative and ownership.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years in Pre-Sales Consulting, Business Consulting, or similar roles.
  • Retail industry experience and self-check-out experience preferred.
