About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Tapps Sports Lounge and Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
    • Package take-out food and prepare it for delivery or customer pickup.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, and appliances.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure the kitchen remains clean and organized.
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and seamless service.
