Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and package take-out food for customers
  • Portion and wrap food items for serving
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and hygienic workspace
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for use in food preparation
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in the food service industry is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks
Working Conditions:

The Kitchen Helper will work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to meet the demands of a busy kitchen.
