Job Type: Permanent Full Time

Schedule: Day, Monday - Friday Subject to change due to operational requirements

Language Requirement: English Essential

$34.00 per hour

The Cytotechnologist 2 role is responsible for performing routine and specialized laboratory procedures according to prescribed policies and procedures.

A graduate of a school of Medical Cytotechnology is required. The candidate must be registered with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science and licensed and in good standing with the New Brunswick Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists.

Responsibilities include validating and reporting test results, performing quality control and participating in quality improvement activities, providing guidance, training and orientation, and meeting COMPETENCIES IDENTIFIED BY THE CANADIAN SOCIETY FOR MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE 2008 and COMPETENCIES IDENTIFIED BY HORIZON HEALTH NETWORK.
