Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team at Steel Hub Transport. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance and perform preventive maintenance tasks
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as needed
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarp and secure cargo to ensure safety and security
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility and reliability
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a truck driver
  • Knowledge of bill of lading, driver logbook, and trip reports
