Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at MindJeweller Services Inc. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Logistics: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment and GPS devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring professionalism and courtesy when interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as complete necessary documentation, such as bills of lading and driver logbooks.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Mountain driving expertise, professionalism in customer service, and ability to work in a team environment.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to heavy loads and varying weather conditions.
