Electrical Designer / Jr. Project Manager - Engineering Building Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Designer / Jr. Project Manager to join our team in Calgary. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and managing electrical systems for commercial, residential, and institutional buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop electrical designs, specifications, and detailed drawings for power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and communications systems.
  • Collaborate with clients and consultants to ensure smooth communication across all project phases.
  • Manage scheduling, time management, and reporting for seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct on-site surveys, inspections, and ensure top-tier construction administration.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in Electrical Building Systems Design.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • P.Eng designation is preferred, however, EIT's with some project management experience will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of Alberta's Building Codes, Canadian Electrical Codes, NFPA, and CAN/ULC standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, AGI or Dialux, Bluebeam.
