Senior UX Designer

Fortinet is seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing a consistent design language across our products, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user feedback into the design process and iterate on solutions that meet user and business needs.
  • Design interfaces that accommodate the needs of diverse user groups, including those with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience and address pain points.
  • Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs, ensuring they effectively communicate design concepts and functionality to stakeholders.
  • Convert wireframes and prototypes into high-fidelity visual designs that align with the overall brand and design guidelines.
  • Lead and mentor junior UX designers on the team, sharing best practices and guiding the overall UX strategy.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to UX design; apply knowledge to improve and innovate the platform continuously.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in UX design, with a focus on complex, data-driven platforms.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Interaction Design, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a UX Designer or a similar role.
  • Strong creative design skills. Must be aware of the latest design trends. Strong portfolio of design projects.
  • Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture.
  • Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Proficient in design software usage – Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD is what we use in-house.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS is desired; JavaScript awareness is a plus.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Analytical mind with business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead UX projects from concept to completion.
  • Any prior experience of working in the cybersecurity domain would be an added advantage.
