Case Manager

The Case Manager will provide trauma-informed support to survivors of sexualized violence, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all individuals. This role involves direct support to survivors, complainants, and respondents, as well as providing education and resources to SFU students, staff, and faculty. The Case Manager will work closely with the Sexual Violence Support & Prevention Office team to develop and implement processes, services, and training to enhance support for those impacted by sexual violence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to survivors of sexualized violence, including crisis intervention and counseling.
- Support SFU students, staff, and faculty in understanding SFU's policy framework related to sexualized violence.
- Develop and implement processes, services, and training to enhance support for those impacted by sexual violence.
- Work closely with the Sexual Violence Support & Prevention Office team to ensure consistency in approach and develop new processes, services, and training as required.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counselling, or a related discipline.
- Five years of related experience, including crisis intervention, counselling, sexual violence support, education, research, and advocacy in a unionized environment.
- Knowledge of intersectional, feminist, anti-oppressive, and anti-racist practices relating to sexual, intimate, and family violence.
