Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Dispensary Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing distribution pharmacy services, ensuring the efficient and accurate dispensing of medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to achieve patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret medication orders/prescriptions and assess prescriptions for therapeutic suitability
  • Communicate with physicians, patients, and other healthcare team members for prescription clarification and problem resolution
  • Participate in medication use evaluation projects, quality control activities, and clinical drug trials
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and resolve drug therapy problems and achieve patient care outcomes

Requirements:
  • Current license of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
  • Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged
  • At least one year of related work in a hospital pharmacy, desirable
