About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BASIS and HANA Expert to join our team at Adobe. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Impact the development and delivery of Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting strategies based on Native HANA and HANA Live, aligning with future-state goals while optimizing current service portfolio.
  • Design and improve new and existing Native HANA models, views, and Business Objects (BOBJ) reports and dashboards to meet business needs and adhere to business priorities and IT standards.
  • Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot SAP HANA systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Administer SAP HANA systems using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
  • Manage users and roles in SAP HANA systems.
  • Implement SAP HANA Table management techniques, including data compression, table partitioning, and load/unload table into memory.
  • Install, provision, administer, model, and integrate SAP HANA systems.
  • Integrate SAP Business Objects and HANA, design documents, RFPs, and estimation plans.
  • Experience with high availability and backup mechanisms.
  • Deep understanding of SLT methodologies and replication techniques.
  • Implement SAP HANA Security mechanisms, HANA XS Application services, and monitor HANA systems.
  • Expertise in SAP Basis tasks, including technical planning, installations, and configurations (SAP S/4 HANA, FIORI, SLT, SOLMAN, SAP Router...), upgrades, OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions for SAP NetWeaver platform, SSO configuration, installation of SSL certificates, and familiarity with BRTOOLS for space management.
  • Hands-on experience with implementation and conversion for S/4HANA solutions.
  • Experience with SAP Backup and Recovery.
  • Proficiency in HANA knowledge, including High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
  • Experience and deep knowledge of SAP system migration (DMO tool) and upgrades.
  • Strong SQL scripting knowledge, crafting stored procedures, solving performance issue optimization of the code.
  • Experience with SAP data Archiving.
  • Integration of SAP HANA into different remote systems, exposure to different remote access options in HANA systems.
  • Hardware, operating systems (LINUX), and networking connectivity required for the SAP environment.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP HANA in-Memory Platform core technology, including architecture, landscape design, installation, upgrade, performance tuning, and system integration.
  • Early Watch configuration and analysis. Transport Management.
  • Automation of SAP Basis tasks through different development and scripting approaches.
  • Incident Management: Troubleshooting issues from OS level, checking logs, checking OSS notes, providing performance analysis, and suggesting solutions for Root Cause Analysis.
  • Build Adobe standard documentation.
  • Provide on-call support during weekdays and weekends as per the schedule.
  • Certification in SAP S/4 HANA and OS/DB Migration is a plus.
  • SAP BASIS/NetWeaver certification is a plus.
  • SAP Fiori knowledge is helpful.
  • Skills on Linux are required.
  • Strong SAP Basis experience in Data Archiving and Content Server Strategies.
