About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BASIS and HANA Expert to join our team at Adobe. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Impact the development and delivery of BI/reporting strategy based on Native HANA/HANA Live to support future-state goals while optimizing current service portfolio.
  • Build and improve new/existing Native HANA models, views, and BOBJ reports and dashboards to meet business needs and in accordance with business priorities and IT standards.
  • Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot SAP HANA systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Administer SAP HANA systems using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
  • Manage users and roles in SAP HANA systems.
  • Implement SAP HANA Table management techniques, including data compression, table partitioning, and load/unload table into memory.
  • Install, provision, administer, model, and integrate SAP HANA systems.
  • Design and implement SAP Business Objects and HANA integration, including RFPs and estimation plans.
  • Ensure high availability and backup mechanisms are in place.
  • Implement SAP HANA Security mechanisms, HANA XS Application services, and monitor HANA systems.
  • Have a deep understanding of SAP Basis tasks, including technical planning, installations, and configurations, upgrades, OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions, and SSO configuration.
  • Implement and convert S/4HANA solutions.
  • Experience with SAP Backup and Recovery.
  • Proficiency in HANA knowledge, including High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
  • Experience with SAP system migration and upgrades.
  • Strong SQL scripting knowledge and ability to craft stored procedures and optimize code.
  • Experience with SAP data Archiving.
  • Integrate SAP HANA into different remote systems and expose different remote access options in HANA systems.
  • Have a deep understanding of SAP HANA in-Memory Platform core technology, including architecture, landscape design, installation, upgrade, performance tuning, and system integration.
  • Configure and analyze Early Watch and transport management.
  • Automate SAP Basis tasks through development and scripting approaches.
  • Manage incidents, troubleshoot issues from OS level, and provide performance analysis and root cause analysis.
  • Build Adobe standard documentation.
  • Provide on-call support during weekdays and weekends as per the schedule.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP BASIS and HANA.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP HANA in-Memory Platform core technology.
  • Strong SQL scripting knowledge.
  • Experience with SAP system migration and upgrades.
  • Proficiency in HANA knowledge, including High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
  • SAP BASIS/NetWeaver certification is a plus.
  • SAP Fiori knowledge is helpful.
  • Skills on Linux are required.
