Job Title: Fish Grader

We are seeking a skilled Fish Grader to join our team at Canada Inc.

Job Summary:

The Fish Grader will be responsible for examining ingredients and finished products to ensure conformance to company standards. This includes advising supervisors of ingredient or product deficiencies, taking samples of products at various stages of processing, and conducting routine tests for product specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine ingredients or finished products to ensure conformance to company standards
  • Advise supervisors of ingredient or product deficiencies
  • Take samples of products at various stages of processing
  • Conduct routine tests for product specifications
  • Grade and label raw materials or finished products
  • Ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a noisy, odorous, dusty, hot, cold/refrigerated, and wet/damp environment
  • Willingness to relocate for this position
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues
