About the JobThis is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of pest control. You must have a strong understanding of pesticides, safety protocols, and customer service skills.
The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team to inspect buildings, identify pest infestations, and provide effective treatment solutions. A valid Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course are required for this role.
Responsibilities- Inspect buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation
- Determine type of treatment required and prepare chemical mixture accordingly
- Fumigate households and place traps to capture and remove animals
- Clean out areas that harbour pests and advise clients on prevention methods
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pest control
- Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence
- Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina to perform tasks in confined spaces and at heights
- A competitive salary of $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location
- Mileage paid for work-related travel
