Education Department Team Lead

We are seeking a visionary leader to oversee initiatives in our Education Department. As a Team Lead, you will guide a team of educators in designing and implementing innovative educational and cultural experiences that empower individuals and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, coordination, and support to a team of educators
  • Train and onboard new staff, and provide coaching support
  • Responsible for student recruitment, orientation, and providing student resources
  • Implement programming that is relevant and inclusive
  • Lead the design and delivery of training and professional development programs for educators
  • Course management assistance, collaboration with the Education team and accreditation body
  • Oversee program budgets and cash flows, and ensure program review, monitor, and evaluations
  • Conduct the Education team's annual evaluations to assess performance and set goals for professional development
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and final reports as required by program and funder guidelines

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Knowledgeable on community resources, and able to provide one-on-one wraparound support for students
  • Proven ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to challenges
  • Experience in program design, implementation, and evaluation, with a focus on outcomes and impact
