Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections and audits to ensure that parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards. They will also remove defective items from production, report defects to management, and perform internal QA audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
  • Remove defective items from production and document reasons for removal.
  • Report defects to management and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Perform internal QA audits to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the maintenance of QA monitoring programs, including audits, controls, and other qualifiers.
  • Support new product development and continuous improvement by integrating quality control tools into processes.
  • Comply with Company QA programs for monitoring supplier quality, including audits, controls, and other qualifiers.
  • Promote and advocate quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislation.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require a post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Quality, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. You will also need a minimum of three years of practical experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
