We are seeking an exceptional Senior Mechanical Estimating Manager to join our team in Scarborough, Ontario. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our company.

About This Opportunity:

This is a unique chance for a seasoned professional with 15-20 years of experience working as a Mechanical Estimator on ICI projects of $10M value or higher to take their career to the next level. You will be responsible for leading a team of estimators and overseeing the tendering process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, and contractors to prepare accurate estimates and negotiate contracts.
  • Oversee the development of detailed cost plans, including material and labor costs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Prepare and present estimates to clients, highlighting the benefits of our services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 15-20 years of experience working as a Mechanical Estimator on ICI projects of $10M value or higher.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
