Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized support and guidance to children and youth, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. This will involve working closely with clients, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalized plans that address their unique needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to children and youth, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized plans that address the unique needs and goals of clients.
  • Work closely with clients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Assess client needs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Implement life skills workshops and provide training to clients.
  • Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses.
  • Provide suicide and crisis intervention, as well as conflict resolution support.
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers involved with clients.
  • Develop service intervention logic models and outcome measures.
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Will train.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check, and Driver's validity licence check.
