Job Description for Truck Driver

We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team at K-Motion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation operations and be able to safely transport goods and materials across various routes.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and ensure all aspects of the vehicle are in good working order.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:

  • AZ class license.
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Valid passport.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Driver's validity license check.
  • Driving record check (abstract).
  • Drug test.
  • Medical exam.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
