As a Payroll and Financial Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finances and maintaining healthy relationships with our vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and oversee bi-weekly payroll for over 270 employees across three provinces.
  • Provide payroll support to our US-based company in California.
  • Research and communicate payroll rules and regulations in the provinces where we operate.
  • Create and set up new rules and regulations in our payroll software.
  • Generate Pension & Insurable Earnings Review (PIER) and validate necessary discrepancies.
  • Reconcile accounts and perform miscellaneous reporting related to payroll.
  • Stay current with new or upcoming payroll rules and regulations.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience running payroll in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with Dayforce payroll software.
  • Knowledgeable and able to adhere to payroll rules and regulations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and California.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills with MS Office and Excel specifically.
  • Strong computer, organizational, administrative, and numeracy skills.
  • Good command of the English language.
