About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Delivery Manager to join our team at Intelliware Development. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in managing client relationships, developing new business, and leading product delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to identify and secure new projects and opportunities.
  • Business Development: Support new business pursuits through proposals, RFPs, and pitch meetings.
  • Project Delivery: Lead product delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Strategic Planning: Plan and manage project deliverables at the strategic and tactical levels.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide strategic vision, guidance, and recommendations based on business and technical drivers.
  • Team Management: Manage relationships with team members and clients to ensure a high degree of engagement and a shared understanding of strategy, implementation, and delivery realities.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with technical leads to ensure successful delivery of development scope and goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Balance and satisfy the needs of business, end-user, and technical stakeholders, ensuring alternatives have been investigated and there is an understanding of implementation tradeoffs.
  • Team Development: Guide the development process and create a high-functioning team.
  • Project Management: Manage and report on project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
Requirements
  • Client-Facing Skills: Proven client-facing, partnership, and presentation skills.
  • Sales and Consulting Experience: Proven sales/pre-sales and/or consultant experience for software development solutions.
  • Project Management Experience: 3-5+ years relevant hands-on experience managing custom software projects.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of technology.
  • Facilitation and Planning Skills: Strong facilitation, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in one of: Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics (or equivalent education/experience).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Agile Experience: Exposure to and enthusiasm for Agile approaches to software development.
  • Best Practices: Best practices in product development and technical product marketing.
  • Solution Selling: Experience with solution selling/account development/traditional sales.
  • Business Requirements: Experience designing/developing business requirements.
