General Practitioner Opportunity in Medical Oncology at BC Cancer

We are seeking a General Practitioner with an interest in supporting patients in an ambulatory care setting to join our team at BC Cancer – Kelowna.

About the Role

This is a regular, part-time/full-time position (up to 1 FTE) that reports to the Department Head of Medical Oncology. The successful candidate will work with a team of specialized medical oncologists and allied health professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the treatment and follow-up of patients after curative and palliative treatment planning
  • Engage in clinical trials as opportunities arise
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have eligibility for appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer, and Kelowna General Hospital. In-patient and oncology experience is an asset but not required. We offer comprehensive training and support for your professional development, including didactic virtual teaching and in-clinic patient-related instruction.
