We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and process customer prescriptions, ensuring all necessary information is gathered and accurate.
- Maintain patient and drug information files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Check pharmaceutical products prepared by other technicians or unregulated personnel, confirming accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare prescription labels, affixing labels to prescription containers, and reconcile accounts and collect outstanding monies from patients.
- Retrieve, count, pour, weigh, measure, mix, and reconstitute medications, as well as price prescriptions and prepare receipts.
- Stock medications and related supplies, rotate, and monitor stock, maintaining a perpetual inventory system.
- Maintain customer privacy and confidentiality, adhering to professional standards and regulations.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician certification and maintained registration with the appropriate pharmacy association.
- High level of professionalism, knowledge of professional discipline, technical specialties, and related processes.
- Ability to implement practical procedures of systems that are moderately complex, demonstrating leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
- Experience with Healthwatch is an asset.
