We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ambulatory Care Nurse to join our team at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients and families, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to enhance their quality of life.
About the Role:
- Provide nursing care to patients, both independently and as part of a team
- Enhance patient quality of life through consultation, collaboration, and education with other healthcare providers
- Demonstrate continuous improvement and evidence-based practice in nursing care
- Maintain and advance your clinical competence
This is a casual opportunity, with shifts scheduled days, rotating between 06:30-16:00, 06:45-14:45, 07:30-15:30, and 08:00-16:00 hours. Casual employees are eligible for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.

EKRH is a 77-bed regional referral centre serving over 80,000 people, offering 24/7 emergency services, a new state-of-the-art ICU, and a range of medical specialties. Our hospital provides a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for educational and recruitment initiatives.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of ambulatory care nursing, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Salary Range: $41.42-$55.91 per hour
