About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Optometrist Assistant to join our team at Dr. Nazir Musaji. As an Optometrist Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our optometrists in providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist optometrists with patient exams, including visual acuity testing and retinoscopy.
  • Prepare and maintain patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing inventory.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in optometry.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
