**Sales Associate**

We are a locally owned and operated business that has taken pride in serving our communities with the highest quality of products, service, and value. We specialize in the sale of glasses, sunglasses and contacts alongside our optometrists.

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing customers with an exceptional experience through excellent customer service. The Sales Associate will be responsible for developing relationships with customers to ensure they receive the best service from our company. The Sales Associate will also be responsible for assisting customers in finding the perfect product to suit their needs. We are looking for someone to work 3-4 days per week at our Pickering location.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:

- Develop strong relationships with customers to ensure they receive the best service from our company.
- Answer phones, coordinate eye exam appointments with our optometrists.
- Become familiar with products, brands and prices and make recommendations of products, including their features and benefits, to suit customers needs.
- Ensure customers receive a positive, friendly, and professional experience.
- Handle all sales transactions in a professional manner; handle customer complaints, questions, and concerns.
- Prepare accurate sales sheets and records in the daily activity of sales.
- Follow all policies and procedures outlined by the company to provide a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous retail sales experience preferred.
- Knowledge of glasses/sunglasses styling is an asset
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both customers and co-workers in order to provide excellent customer service.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $16.55 per hour
