Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and provide a welcoming experience.
- Manage the Point of Sale (POS) terminal and verify floats of cannabis at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Create an educational experience for customers, providing information on our products and services.
- Recommend products to customers based on their needs and preferences.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, following Canna Cabana standard operating procedures.
- Report any suspicious behavior or abusive customers to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Verify the age of customers who appear to be under 25 years old.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Selling It Right - Cannabis Retail Certification.
- Must have a clean Criminal Background Check prior to start date.
- Minimum 2-3 years of retail experience in sales and customer service required.
- Knowledge of and passion for cannabis and accessories.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to compute basic mathematical problems.
- Attention to detail.
- Desire to educate customers about the benefits of cannabis use.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
