We are seeking a skilled physician to join our team at Interior Health Authority. The ideal candidate will have experience in family medicine and obstetrics, with a strong focus on providing high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.

The clinic is a general family practice plus maternity care, with a focus on providing comprehensive care to patients. The successful candidate will work in a newly constructed building, with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. The clinic is conveniently located, with easy access to Kelowna General Hospital and other community resources.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care, with a focus on building strong relationships with patients and their families. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities will include providing comprehensive medical care to patients, including prenatal visits, deliveries, and postpartum care. The successful candidate will also be responsible for participating in call coverage, as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a focus on staying up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices.

Qualifications for this position include a Doctorate in Medicine, eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia, and certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada. The ideal candidate will also have obstetric experience and be eligible for coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
