Job Title: Junior Construction Superintendent

Join Jump Recruitment Specialists, a leading recruitment agency, in our search for a highly skilled Junior Construction Superintendent to lead our construction projects in Newfoundland and Labrador.

About the Role:

  • Provide on-site leadership and guidance to project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and field staff to achieve project objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with construction drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Plan and implement schedules, determine manpower levels, and material quantities.
  • Lead project meetings and advise project managers and senior management on potential problems.
  • Mentor project team members to ensure career growth and development.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of on-site construction management experience.
  • Civil tech education or similar considered an asset.
  • Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems and making decisions.
  • Ability to successfully lead projects and programs on-time, on-schedule, and within budget parameters.
  • Familiarity with OH&S regulations and adaptation to company safety policies and regulations.
  • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
