Unlock Your Potential as a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Partner

At Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, we're building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world. We're seeking a talented, passionate professional who is dedicated to doing what's right for our clients.

As a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll play a key role in planning, sourcing, assessing, and qualifying external candidates to support business plans and goals. You'll provide advice regarding the hiring process, understanding business partner needs and leveraging new sourcing channels to advise hiring managers throughout the interviewing process.

You'll exercise independent judgement to recommend the most important candidate skills, using labour market knowledge to recommend process improvements. You'll make decisions on your own work methods to assess candidates using behavioural interviewing techniques to provide business partners with insights, benefits, and hiring risks.

At CIBC, we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the talent acquisition planning, sourcing, and interviewing activities to identify quality candidates for an individual or group of portfolios, ensuring class hiring requirements are met and exceeded per set timelines while providing a positive candidate experience.
  • Identify strategies and sourcing channels to build a pipeline of diverse candidates for your assigned portfolio. Establish connections within the community, organize and attend recruiting events, maintain and leverage a professional online and social media presence, and prospect talent through your network.
  • Keep up-to-date on labour market trends and competitor information, providing business partners with insights and recommendations that will improve the quality of external hires. Build deep subject matter expertise in your portfolio to better forecast and influence hiring plans and decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with leaders, internal partners, and candidates. Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience by managing your talent pipeline, acknowledging all applicants, and engaging in regular communication.
What We Offer:
  • We work to recognize you in meaningful, personalized ways including a competitive compensation, a banking benefit*, wellbeing support, and additional offers such as employee and family assistance programs and MomentMakers, our social, points-based recognition program.
  • Our spaces and technological toolkit will make it simple to bring together great minds to create innovative solutions that make a difference for our clients.

*Subject to program terms and conditions
