The Opportunity

At Hampton Inn by Hilton Cornwall, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the front office department and sales, while supporting the General Manager in the overall management of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the front office operations and sales teams, ensuring high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Implement and maintain all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with brand and legislative standards.
  • Develop and execute business, marketing, and sales plans, as well as operating budgets, to drive revenue growth and improve market share.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate staff to create a productive and efficient team, ensuring excellent guest service and employee satisfaction.
  • Represent the management team to hotel guests, employees, and members of the community, promoting a positive image of the hotel.
  • Ensure the proper housekeeping and maintenance of the hotel's physical facilities, resulting in employee and guest safety, orderly operations, and good appearance.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and revenue growth.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with a focus on guest satisfaction and employee engagement.
  • Strong business acumen, with experience in developing and executing business plans, marketing strategies, and operating budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the hotel in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and meeting deadlines.
