Portfolio Administrator, Private Investment Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Administrator to join our Private Investment Counsel team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional client service and supporting the execution of business development activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide timely and effective client service, responding to client inquiries and executing on client cash management requests.
- Support the Relationship Managers in the management of client portfolios, ensuring compliance with established firm strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate prospecting and business development activities, supporting the execution of marketing strategies to attract and retain valuable clients.
- Participate in all aspects of compliance, identifying actions or changes in policy and/or procedures to remediate non-compliance in the business.
- Contribute to the effective functioning of the Private Investment Counsel team, fostering a strong, positive team environment and driving employee empowerment, innovation, and engagement.
- University Degree (Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance), College Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years industry experience, with a strong understanding of investment management and client service principles.
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across the team and with various business line, internal, and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in providing support to sales and business development activities, with a strong understanding of Scotia Wealth and Private Investment Counsel's value proposition and product and service offerings.
