About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Manager to join our team at Carpet Plus Flooring. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to manage construction projects
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure that all workers are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions to ensure that our construction sites are properly staffed
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers to ensure that all projects are properly aligned and integrated
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and injuries on our construction sites
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that all projects are completed on time
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements and ensure that all construction work is properly executed
  • Requisition materials and supplies to ensure that our construction sites are properly equipped and stocked
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure that all construction work is properly executed and that all projects are completed on time and within budget
