Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor

CRU CONSTRUCTION INC. is seeking a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including laborers, carpenters, and other tradespeople.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including material deliveries, equipment rentals, and subcontractor work.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety incident reports.
  • Recruit, train, and develop construction team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact project timelines or budgets.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a construction supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct construction teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. construction management, engineering) an asset.
