We are seeking a highly skilled 421A Mechanic to join our team at American Iron and Metal in Hamilton, Ontario. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our metal recycling operations.

About the Role
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on heavy machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize repair tasks and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

What You'll Need
  • 421A certification and previous experience as a 421A Mechanic.
  • A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • The ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • A strong commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
