Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate the working condition of equipment, diagnose issues, and perform repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently, and operate related instruments, hand and power tools, and computer systems.
- Accurately document all machine information, actions taken, and time taken on work orders.
- Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely and to accepted standards.
- Use computer applications and information systems to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis, and locate parts using parts catalogues.
- Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, the service team, and branch personnel.
- Ability to meet physical demands, including heavy lifting, climbing, overhead lifting/postures, prolonged standing, sensory processing, and fine motor control.
- Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is preferred.
- Certified Journeyperson in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade is preferred.
- Commitment to customer service and service excellence.
