Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cashier Department Head to join our team at T&T Supermarket Inc. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing hands-on support to the Cashier Department Head, coordinating and supervising daily operations, and ensuring the department is functioning under good conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on support and assistance to the Cashier Department Head in managing and supervising department daily operations and staff's working performance.
  • Provide on-the-job training, shadowing, guidance, and supervision to department staff.
  • Handle customers' complaints and build rapport with our customers by providing a good smile, eye contact, and attention to them.
  • Assist Cashier Department Head to manage cash, staff uniforms, and consumable items.
  • Coordinate in arranging all in-store promotion activities.
  • Lead by example by performing all hands-on duties required in the Cashier Department.
  • Proceed checkout service politely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Generate and follow up various store management reports.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.
Requirements
  • 2 years or more of experience as a cashier.
  • 2 years of supervising or managing experience.
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
