Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join our team in Fredericton. As a key member of our operations team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our site, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our facilities, and driving business growth through effective leadership and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase ferrous and non-ferrous materials to optimize site operations
  • Manage and coordinate site activities to ensure efficient and safe operations
  • Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve business objectives
  • Monitor and report on staff performance and results
  • Identify business opportunities and implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance site operations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the metal industry
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
