Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill a Site Manager position at our Fredericton location. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and directing the operations of the site, ensuring the efficiency and quality of operations. You will oversee the planning of employee allocation, material, and economic resources, and work with management to continuously optimize and improve processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase ferrous and non-ferrous materials
  • Optimize site activities
  • Manage, coach, and motivate the team
  • Ensure daily operations procedures are followed
  • Monitor staff performance and report results
  • Prioritize, analyze performance gaps, and identify business opportunities
  • Write reports for management
  • Work towards achieving budgetary financial results
  • Control inventory and quality
  • Promote a customer-oriented team
  • Develop and implement improvements to processes, procedures, and policies

Requirements

  • Three to five years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the metal industry
  • Strong execution and decision-making skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong leadership, coaching, or motivational skills
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
