Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Canadian Tire Hillside (Store 365). As a Cashier, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while processing customer purchases efficiently and correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and courteous service to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cash Handling: Operate the cash register and process customer purchases accurately and efficiently, balancing cash and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Merchandise Management: Maintain a clean and organized retail environment, ensuring that merchandise is properly displayed and faced.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our products and services, enabling you to effectively communicate with customers and provide recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service: Strong orientation towards customer service excellence, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Technical Skills: Basic math and typing skills, with the ability to operate a cash register and other point-of-sale systems.
