About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at BTNX Inc. as a key member of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Word. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
