Job Title: Painter - Surface Preparation Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Painter - Surface Preparation Specialist to join our team at PERFECT LINE PAINTING LTD. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
  • Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
  • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in painting and surface preparation
  • Ability to work at heights and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
