At Health Careers in Sask, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Continuing Care Assistant to join our team.
About the RoleThis is a Permanent Part-Time position, working 8 hour shifts with an anticipated start date of shortly after hire. The successful candidate will work in a safe environment, assisting clients/patients/residents and special needs individuals to meet their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.
Responsibilities- Assist clients/patients/residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Provide direct care and monitoring of clients and permanent residents
- Record resident records and care plans
- Cooperate with other departments and follow therapy guidelines, established standards, and facility policies
The ideal candidate will possess Grade X, one year Continuing Care Assistant course, a valid driver's license (where required), and strong communication skills.
